Jay-Z's attorney speaks out for the first time since star's legal woes
Alex Spiro, the attorney representing Jay-Z, addressed accusations made against Jay-Z after an anonymous Jane Doe filed an amended complaint against Sean Combs and Jay-Z. Jay-Z's given name is Shawn Carter, and the amended complaint revealed that a previously unnamed celebrity in her original complaint against Combs, initially filed in October, was Carter. In the amended complaint, Carter is accused of raping the then 13-year-old Jane Doe at an afterparty for the MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2000.
