Apple AirTags are easily some of the most useful gadgets to pair with your iPhone. Just ask any of our editors here at Underscored, and you’ll get a long list of replies about a time when Apple’s item finder saved the day. Now you can stock up on these trackers more affordably, getting a single tracker for $23 and a four-pack for $70.

Planning a trip can be stressful enough as is. The last thing you want is to pile on worrying thoughts about your luggage getting lost along the way. But that’s where AirTags have your back, offering extra peace of mind for keeping your valuables secured. These item finders are already a good tech deal for all their capabilities, but scoring a couple of bucks off never hurts.

Apple’s AirTags are a little bigger than a coin cell battery (and surprisingly, run on coin cell batteries) but despite their size, they offer impeccable tracking abilities. Powered by the Apple Find My network, the AirTags can ping nearby devices via Bluetooth to share their most recent location. Since there are many iPhone, iPad and Mac users around the country and globe, there’s a good chance your AirTag will turn up even if you’ve lost it in some far-flung place. And if your AirTag turns up, so should whatever item you attached it to.

While the Find My network will get you close, the AirTags have a special trick to get you even closer. Using the ultra-wideband radios inside the iPhone 12 and newer models, your phone can point you toward the missing AirTag and indicate exactly how far away it is. You can have it play a sound when you’re right on top of it. Just like that: You’ll have found your missing luggage, wallet, purse or bicycle — you name it.

With so much to keep track of, maybe that four-pack isn’t a bad idea. Otherwise, shop this week’s other tech deals.

Why these Apple Airtag deals are worth shopping

We’re always on the lookout for deals on anything that Apple makes. AirTags, particularly, are at the top of our minds as we start mapping out what 2025 will hold. Our senior deals editor, Rikka Altland, was talking with her dad about him needing a set of item finders before an upcoming trip. So, when she spotted today’s deals, she knew they were worth sharing. Just think of this as Altland looping you into the same shopping advice she gives her family.

Why trust CNN Underscored?

Quite simply, our goal here at Underscored is to save you money. Altland has been doing that for nearly a decade, and that kind of experience extends to the rest of our deals team. Being an advocate for buyers to make sure we’re only recommending the best prices on the best products is what we’re all about, and that focus comes across in our work.
